This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and CleanSlateX for the use of the CleanSlateX macOS application ("Software").

1. License Grant

Each license is granted on a per-device basis. The number of permitted devices depends on your plan: Monthly allows up to 2 devices, Annual up to 3 devices, and Lifetime up to 3 devices. The license is non-transferable without prior written consent.

2. Free Version

The free version provides unlimited scanning across all categories. Cleaning actions and advanced features require an active Pro subscription or lifetime license.

3. Free Trial

A free trial of Pro features may be offered to new users. The trial period grants full access to Pro features for the duration specified at sign-up. When the trial expires, your account reverts to the Free plan. No payment is required to start a trial.

4. Pro Version

The Pro version provides full access to all features including Smart Deep Scanning, Duplicate File Finder, Full App Uninstaller, Developer Tools Cleanup, Scheduled Cleaning, Smart Care, Malware Scanner, Privacy Cleanup, Maintenance Tools, Login Items Manager, RAM Optimization, App Updater, Secure Shredder, and Creative Media Cleanup.

5. Pro Plans

Monthly — Billed monthly, up to 2 devices.
Annual — Billed annually, up to 3 devices.
Lifetime — One-time purchase, up to 3 devices, perpetual access.

6. Distribution Channels

CleanSlateX is available through two distribution channels: direct download from our website (payments processed by Lemon Squeezy) and the Mac App Store (payments processed by Apple). Features and pricing may vary slightly between channels due to platform requirements. Mac App Store purchases are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.

7. Refund Policy

For direct purchases, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Contact [email protected] for refund requests. For Mac App Store purchases, refunds are handled by Apple through their standard refund process.

8. Disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The user is responsible for reviewing items before cleaning. No warranty is provided on data recovery after use of the secure file shredder.

9. Privacy

CleanSlateX does not collect, transmit, or store personal files. All scanning and cleaning operations are performed locally on your Mac. Network communication is limited to authentication, license validation, and update checks. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
